Offered for sale is this 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 30th Anniversary Edition, finished in White with Orange stripes over s black leather interior, powered by a 5.7-liter V8, running power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, with 25,754 miles on the odometer as of this writing. This is a fun example of the 4th generation Camaro, a very nicely executed pony car produced right as General Motors doubted the long-term success of any coupes, and discontinued the model for years. The Camaro Z/28’s specification included the highly regarded LT1 V8 with 285 hp, and a six-speed manual transmission. This was a quick car in the era, but contemporary tests also praised its handling, with a controllable nature when cornering that still lets the powerful engine slide the car around under power for fun. This example is particularly compelling for its condition and specification. The 30th Anniversary package results in a stark white exterior with orange racing stripes, complemented by matching white alloy wheels and the glass removable T-tops, with perfect sculpted slots in the trunk to hold the tops in place on a fun drive. The low 21,588 miles covered, along with exceptional cosmetic and mechanical condition, is almost impossible to find on a Camaro of this generation.
