Offered for sale is this 2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe, finished in Onyx Black over an Obsidian Black leather interior, powered by a 4.3 liter, naturally aspirated V8 running through a six-speed manual transmission, with 22,000 miles showing. This V8 Vantage is in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanically, and ready to go for the next owner. This generation of the Vantage was created while Aston Martin was part of the Premiere Automotive Group, Ford’s premium automotive division, which included Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Volvo. The engine is an Aston-specific variation of the highly regarded AJ V8, available in various forms in both Jaguars and Range Rovers from the era. The Aston version is a 4.3 liter with a dry sump oiling system, as well as strengthened internals and Aston-specific heads, making it suitable for it’s more sporting application. Between the larger budget allowing for better engineering, and the award-winning exterior designed by both Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker, the Vantage is aging gracefully and is a great example of a comfortable but quick British GT.
